The United Colonial Marine Corps (UCMC), also known as Colonial Marine Corps, known for short as Colonial Marine or Marine, some have spelled referred as Colonial Security Guard was Evil Ground Force of Foreigner who fought in Great Universe War. These Marine were best in capable to engage at ton of enemy force, although they lack of Equipment to against armor unit such as those FSDF M-2 and MBT-21 Falchion. Appearance of Colonial Marine is known for corruption and cheaper quality of the military force much like in least developing countries.
Originally, the UCMC was serve as Colonial States Fleet, but many year have passed after infamous Operation Acheron in G.C. 1986, the UCMC was acquire by Weyland-Yutani since G.C. 1993 from keep the secret and turn them into Mercenary. These Marine group were fought in Great Universe War until they was destroyed in G.C. 2014 by hand of Kasami Hiiragi with Goddess of Flame. (Memory of Kagami Rebirth)

Mission
The Colonial Marines are basic group of Colonial States Armed Force as Marine Force, otherwise is also as Counter-Terrorism Force that deploy in various off-world for specific mission such as protect the base and search and rescue, however, almost mission that involved with these force are completely wiped-out entire force due to how their soldier want the money which leading to do some poor action to command, tactic, strategies and operation look like to keep their Weyland equipment intact which allow small group to take down large number of Colonial Marines force such as Alpha Force without any question, also they don't have much and better equipment and arsenal to deal against army since they never fought the battle with large-scale conflict or armor force such as Tank which APC were using, one such as battle was Battle of Tomoya were large number of Colonial Marines have successful to take control most of Tomoeda battle zone until they was wiped out after arrival of Federation MBT-21 tank force.
Although the Colonial Marines were cannon fodder, more advanced special force known as Advanced Elite Special Assault Team or AESAT were deadly and well trained rival to Alpha Force.

Although Colonial Marine Corps were group of navy seal, but they have only few armor unit such as M-577 Armored Personnel Carrier and UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship, but these vehicle were completely outmatched against Federation vehicle such as MBT-21 or even M-2 tank.
Colonial Marine Corps was based on United States Colonial Marine Corps from Aliens, the CMC introduction in Star Democratic: Memory of Kagami and have been retcon in Memory of Kagami Rebirth alongside with the seal were completely different in Aliens version such as Star were not sharp.
