Alien (franchise) logo.pngAlien is an epic science fiction horror franchise created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett. Produced and distributed by 20th Century Fox, the series began with Alien (1979), directed by Ridley Scott. It was followed by three sequels, Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992), and Alien Resurrection (1997). Scott also directed a prequel series, composed of Prometheus (2012) and Alien: Covenant (2017). A video game called Alien: Isolation was released in 2014 to a very positive response, taking place after the first Alien film and its sequel, following Ellen's daughter, Amanda. The game was confirmed to be canon by 20th Century Fox and even had the "endorsement" of Sigourney Weaver, who provided some voice work for the game.

Their infamous was Weyland-Yutani, the massive evil corporation that using the Xenomorph (or simply 'Alien') as Bio-weapon to wiped out humanity to bought the weapon from them to destroy these creature. Note that Predator series are not exist in Alien universe by Universal Arts due to their infamous critically panned in Alien vs. Predator and just crossover, as well as some confusion on their story such as Prometheus.
