The Federation Defense Force (F.D.F.) (known in Memory of Kagami Rebirth as Federation Self-Defense Force) or Interstellar Federation Army, sometime they called is Federation Army, Federation Land Military or Fed army as common is the main branch of the Federation Armed Self-Defense Force, responsible for land-based military operations. It is the largest Army of Touhou Galaxy and oldest established branch of the Universal Federation Armed Force, and one of Twelve Universal's uniformed services, Away Team were encounter with these armies were called as Lady White Heart's Imperial Army.

Background

General:
Federation Defense Force are called as Strongest military of the Scifictation were never win against Away Team from Star Trek as no Goddess were FDF are strong to beat Imperial Army, Federation Trooper are training to take cover before attack enemies were 'abomination' as today of Federation Force that appeared in HDN and Lady White Heart, Unlike before, Federation are strong and many are dead  when shot as they never take cover and they are faster to shoot everyone is which similar to Star Wars.

Origin:
Based of Federation Defense Force, as well as Universal Force and Massive power army like Lowee Imperial Army are based from Star Wars's Rebel Alliance Military were most of soldier and weapon are similar idea from them.

 Standard Federation Trooper has used the Alliance Trooper in the Mass Effect as Standard. (SD: SC: HK) which same as Blanc Dimension.

 Mistake

Some ship were arrive to port has logo as Federation Defense Force rather than Federation Defense Fleet were as fishing ship or Destroyer. (SD: LS)

 There are lot of mistake in the Federation Self-Defense Force in Battle of K-11 over Memory of Kagami Rebirth were include vehicle that appeared in Lady White Heart such as Turtle which in this version are similar to M-270 MLRS, and Lighter version of Mastodon was M-46 Mammoth.

Trivia

- Before Lady White Heart, Federation soldier when get kill has scream like Jaw!, Arrr!, Eerrr!, as this series is look like Swat get kill.
- Before HDN and Lady White Heart, Federation soldier skill are higher to shoot and attack same time like Star Wars, But to Lady White Heart, most of Federation Soldier are take cover to barrier before shoot like Mass Effect.
  - And Jarson Gamatara and Blanc (and Kagami Hiiragi Jr. after Memory of Kagami) as well, Anime character don't take cover, they shoot faster than who are take cover.
  - Take cover are came from Mass Effect were become as 'abomination' of Federation Training because they are hide from shoot but sometime they fight back, enemies are shoot faster than anyone is hide from cover.
- There are many famous and iconic weapon has been decommissioned are G36CA4, USP. 74 and more that appeared before SD: HDN and AT-16 will soon replaced by XML-66.
- Many time which they are say to leader or military of Federation Defense Force has called by almost is Fed Army, Fed Leader.
