The Yashima-class Battlecruiser CCSS Mikasa was personal ship of Tomoyatalian Empress Miki Hiiragi and the flagship of the Federation Self-Defense Fleet. The premier command ship in Federation Self-Defense Fleet and the first Yashima-class line. It was most powerful Yashima battlecrusier and the most powerful ship in FSDF in that time that capable to destroy enemy Star Destroyer. Teijiki Peon have born on this ship.
The ship was fought at Battle of K-13 as part of Operation Sandstorm alongside with CCSS Makuko and 10 Kagi light cruiser, however, this ship was lost within Gamma Quadrant for 7 year after her warp drive engine was destroyed until final return to Chiyuki in G.C. 1996 and crash into Imperial Tomoya Navy Headquarter, end of her service.
