The Howa Type 99 Laser Rifle (99レーザーライフルを入力 99 Rēzāraifuru o nyūryoku), commonly known as Type 99 was Shugo Chara! Description
Original known as Howa Type 89-L or Upgrade version of Type 89 was introduction in G.C. 1999, before this variants have become the new mark and replaced entire Howa Type 89 for Japan Self-Defense Force Soldier. Effective at 500 meter and Maximum at 4 km, this weapon is best to against Jarson Trooper. Although this rifle can fire at full automatic, it will become very quick to overheating.

Type-06 Rifle Grenade can used with Type-99 as well as M-203, but because they never officially adopted it.

Behind the Scene
Background
The Howa Type 99 Laser Rifle have design same to Howa Type 89 using Type 89 Airsoft (include with Type 99-P were similar to Type 89-F), it design as laser rifle that can fire fully automatic because laser weapon technology today in real world, it can fire beam loop but used source power. Like Type 89, Type 99 in fictional have never got export outside of Japan due to its strict anti-hardware export policy.

In Lady White Heart have two version which one is Laser Rifle same of Type 89, and newer is Heavy Laser Rifle was based from Howa Type 64 which the name given as 'Type-15'.

Grenade launcher in Type 99 were Type 06 rifle grenade that used by Kagami, the reason about the Type-99 was fact that JSDF never adopted M-203 grenade launcher although M203 can fill into it in Memory of Kagami Rebirth.

In Memory of Kagami Rebirth, this gun is part of legendary weapon, as require 3 part are Type-99 model, Power cell and Particle generator, after complete will appeared in store, it have cost around ¥5,000,000, unlike most of appeared, it have firing in high powered red beam instead of light beam most of Star Democratic series and Lady White Heart.
