Rodger Young class Attack Transport was based on Starship Troopers Corvette Transport, since they don't have mentioned or referred any name about this class, "Rodger Young" was referred since they have play major role in film.

 Because of their weapon didn't see firing in the film. They believe to be an energy weapon like one was debut in Starship Troopers: Invasion. However, TGP work think that most of their weapon just like a classic modern naval since the projectile were effective than energy weapon especially most of bullet can pierce on Chiyukitalian shielding.
